NOTICE OF PROPOSAL TO CONSTRUCT ROAD HUMPS

UNDER SECTION 90 HIGHWAYS ACT 1980.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Harrow proposes to construct 14 sinusoidal road humps in various roads in the borough, as detailed below, under the powers conferred by the Highways Act 1980, and under all other enabling powers.

Therefore, full carriageway width, 3700mm metre long sinusoidal road humps of no more than 100mm high are proposed at the following locations:

The speed cushions outside Nos. 40 and 46 Rayners Lane are proposed to be removed.

A copy of the proposals and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the works can be inspected until the expiration of a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published at Greenhill Library, Perceval Square, College Road, Harrow, HA1 1GX between 10.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 11.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. Sunday, excluding Bank Holidays. The proposals can also be viewed at www.harrow.gov.uk/trafficorders.

Persons desiring to make comment or object to the proposals should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof, to the address below or via email to; transportation@harrow.gov.uk quoting reference 25-09 NS.

The deadline for objection is 23.59 hours on 10th June 2026.
