Herefordshire - Temporary Road Closure Due To Pole Replacement Works

Notice of Intention

NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U70239-Aston Crews To Sparrows Lane, Linton- Aston Crews, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U70239- Aston Crews To Sparrows Lane, Linton-Aston Crews, near to property 'The Stables". Grid Ref: 367108/223353.

The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1280 onto the B4224 onto the B4221 onto the U70226 onto the U70227 and vice versa. The said closure is required due to pole replacement works and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 18th of June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
