THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991

AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS

DARCY ROAD, NORBURY

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC & PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate repairs to a water valve lid, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements and parking in Darcy Road, Norbury.

2. During the work:

(a) Darcy Road will be closed between its junction with Northborough Road and the common boundary of Nos. 5 and 7 Darcy Road.

(b) Parking outside Nos. 1 and 3 and Nos. 2 and 4 Darcy Road will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply “at any time”.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative routes for diverted traffic will be as detailed below.

• Westbound – Via Northborough Road, Lyndhurst Avenue, and Stanford Road.

• Eastbound – Via Northborough Road, Isham Road, and Stanford Road.

• Cyclists and pedestrians can dismount and use the footway.

4. The Order will come into operation on 09 June 2026, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed on 11 June 2026. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in conducting the said work.

(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

KEMBLE ROAD, CROYDON

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC & PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate work on behalf of Thames Water to cap off the flow between two manholes, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking in Kemble Road, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:

(a) Kemble Road will be closed outside No. 11 Kemble Road.

(b) Parking in Kemble Road will be suspended outside Nos. 9 to 15 Kemble Road, and waiting and loading restrictions will apply “at any time”.

3. During the closure the alternative route for traffic will be as detailed below.

• Via Kemble Road, Siddons Road, Vicarage Road, and vice versa.

4. The Order will come into operation on 08 June 2026, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 22 June 2026. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.

5. The restrictions will not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.

COLLIERS WATER LANE, BRIGSTOCK ROAD & PENSHURST ROAD, THORNTON HEATH

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate footway works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit traffic movements and parking in Colliers Water Lane, Brigstock Road and Penshurst Road.

2. During the work:

(a) Colliers Water Lane will be closed at its junction with Brigstock Road.

(b) Penshurst Road will be closed at its junction with Brigstock Road.

(c) The southern footway of Brigstock Road will be closed outside Nos. 99 to 109 Brigstock Road.

(d) The free parking bay outside Nos. 222 to 216 Brigstock Road will be suspended.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative routes for diverted vehicles will be as detailed below. Pedestrians will be directed to the opposite footway.

• Via Beverstone Road, Malvern Road, and A23 London Road.

• Via Haslemere Road, Bensham Lane, and vice versa.

• Via Brigstock Rd, London Road, A23 London Road, Thornton Road, Roundabout, and A23 London Road.

• Via Brigstock Road, Melfort Road, Strathyre Avenue, and A23 London Road.
