Herefordshire - Public Footpath Diversion Order
What is happening?
Highways Act 1980 Section 119, Herefordshire Council, Public Footpath KS31 Kingstone to be known as Footpath AN32 Allensmore, Public Path Diversion Order 2026
The above order made on 5th May, 2026 under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 will divert that length of Footpath KS31 in the Parish of Kingstone running from OS Grid Reference SO 4408 3728 to OS Grid Reference SO 4403 3751.
An alternative footpath will be created, to be known as footpath AN32, being 2 metres in width, running from OS Grid Reference SO 4409 3729 to OS Grid Reference SO 4406 3750.
Copies of the order, plan and explanatory statement may be seen free of charge at Blueschool House, Blueschool Street, Hereford, HR1 2AN during normal opening hours. Copies are also available on the Council’s website at www.herefordshire.gov.uk.

Representations or objections to the order must be made in writing to Public Rights of Way Manager, Herefordshire Council, Plough Lane, Hereford, HR4 0LE, or by email to PROW@herefordshire.gov.uk, quoting reference PROW/D573 and stating your reasons, to be received not later than 26th June, 2026. Your details may be made available to third parties.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Council may confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State, Department of Environment Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation, any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
