THE A46 TRUNK ROAD (LEEK WOOTTON,
WARWICKSHIRE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (Company No. 9346363) intends to make an order on the A46 Trunk Road, at Leek Wootton, in the County of Warwickshire, to allow the Two Castles Run event to take place.
The effect of the Order will be to close –
(a) the exit slip road leading from the northbound carriageway of the A46, to its roundabout junction with Warwick Road, the B4115 Coventry Road and the A429 Coventry Road; and
(b) the exit slip road leading from the southbound carriageway of the A46, to its junction with the roundabout described in (a) above.
These measures are in place for the interests of road safety while the Two Castles Run is held. It is expected that the measures will be in operation for four hours between 07:00 hours and 11:00 hours on Sunday 14th June 2026. The order will come into force on Sunday 14th June 2026 and have a maximum duration of 3 days.
Diversion routes via the A46, Warwick Road,
Warwick Bypass, the A452, Birmingham Road, High Street, Bridge Street, Abbey Hill, Abbey End, Borrowell Lane, the A452 Fieldgate Lane, the A452 Behive Hill, the B4115 and the A452 Leamington Road will be signed.
Vehicles being used for police, fire and rescue authority or ambulance purposes, and vehicles being used in connection with the event will be exempt from the closures.
