What is happening?

Manchester City Council proposes to make Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The names and effects of the Orders are as follows:

CITY OF MANCHESTER (CORAL STREET, ARDWICK) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND LOADING/ UNLOADING AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND LOADING/UNLOADING) ORDER 2026: NO WAITING AND NO LOADING/UNLOADING AT ANY TIME:

Coral Street, (i) north-west side from Ardwick Green South south-westerly for 4.5m, (ii) south-east side from Ardwick Green South south-westerly for 10m, (iii) south-east side from 27.5m south-west of Ardwick Green South southwesterly for 10m.

NO WAITING AND NO LOADING/UNLOADING MON-FRI 8AM-9.30AM AND 2.30PM-4.30PM:

Coral Street, south-east side from 10m south-west of Ardwick Green South south-westerly for 17.5m.

CITY OF MANCHESTER (VARIOUS PRIMARY SCHOOL ENTRANCES, MANCHESTER) (PROHIBITION OF STOPPING AND REVOCATION) ORDER 2015 (AMENDMENT NO.48) ORDER 2026
NO STOPPING ON SCHOOL ENTRANCE MARKINGS:

Coral Street, north-west side from 4.5m south-west of Ardwick Green South south-westerly for 31.5m (outside Co-op Academy Medlock)

A copy of the proposed Orders, the Order it is proposed to amend, a Statement of Reasons, and a plan showing the proposals can be requested by emailing phlegal@ manchester.gov.uk or examined in person by appointment at the Customer Service Centre, Ground Floor, Town Hall Extension, M60 2LA (for Sat. Nav. use M2 5DB) Monday to Friday 9am to 4.30pm. Objections to the proposals must be sent in writing to phlegal@manchester.gov.uk or to the address below, stating the grounds on which they are made, no later than 19th June 2026.
