Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym yn gyntaf ar 8 Mehefin 2026. Disgwylir y bydd y gwaharddiad dros dro yn weithredol yn ysbeidiol dros nos (20:00 – 06:00 o’r gloch) o’r dyddiad hwnnw am gyfnod o 18 mis ar y mwyaf. Dangosir arwyddion i roi hysbysiad ymlaen llaw am y gwaharddiad cyn dechrau unrhyw waith.

THE A465 TRUNK ROAD (WESTBOUND ENTRY SLIP ROAD AT RHYMNEY INTERCHANGE, CAERPHILLY COUNTY BOROUGH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 202-
THE WELSH MINISTERS propose, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which is necessary to undertake works on or near the A465 trunk road at Rhymney Interchange, Caerphilly County Borough.
The effect of the proposed Order will be to temporarily prohibit all vehicles, other than those being used by the emergency services or for the works, from proceeding on the length of the westbound entry slip road at Rhymney Interchange.
The alternative route will be to join the A465 eastbound carriageway at Rhymney Interchange, proceed to Tredegar Junction, exit and return via the westbound A465.
The Order will first come into force on 8 June 2026. The temporary prohibition is expected to operate intermittently overnight (20:00 – 06:00 hours) from that date for a maximum period of 18 months. Advance notice of the prohibition will be displayed before commencing any works.
