NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U91029- Kingswood Road-Kingswood, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U91029-Kingswood Road- Kingswood, approx 35 mtrs NW from A4111 junction. Grid Ref: 329571/253879.
The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the U91028 onto the C1072 onto the U91016 onto the A4110 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to cabling and pole testing works and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 26th of May 2026 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 2 days (9.30-15.30hrs).
