Herefordshire - Temporary Road Closure Due To New Connection Works

NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: C1090 Staunton On Wye Village Road- Staunton On Wye, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1090 Staunton On Wye Village Road- Staunton On Wye, C1090 Staunton On Wye Village Road. Grid Ref: 336865/245261.

The alternative route for those affected by the proposal Is via A438 onto the C1088 From A438 To Hlnton Lane and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to new connection works and trie likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 19th of May 2026 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
