NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: C1136 From Shobdon Cottage To Hill Oak Farm, Bringsty, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1136 From Shobdon Cottage To Hill Oak Farm, Bringsty, from Shobdon Cottage to Hil Oak Farm. Grid Ref: 368083/251705.
The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1135 onto Brookhouse Cottage Road onto the C1138, onto the B4220 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to defect repair works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 25th of May 2026 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
