The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (No.8) Order 2026

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 18 May 2026 made the above Traffic Orders under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Orders will be to amend the two existing disabled persons parking places operating “at any time” in Raymead Avenue, adjacent to the flank wall of No. 770a London Road, to become three-hour maximum stay disabled bays.

3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 22 May 2026, and all associated Orders, can be inspected between 10am and 6pm, at Croydon Central Library, Katharine Street, CR9 1ET for a period of six weeks from the date the Orders were made. Alternatively, all related documents or further information can be requested by email to Parking.Design@croydon.gov.uk

4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 18 May 2026 made the above Traffic Orders under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Orders will be to remove 11.5 metres of existing yellow line marked on the north-east side of Birchanger Road, outside Nos. 5 to 8 The Close, and replace it with a new zebra crossing and zig-zag markings. The crossing and zig-zag markings will be marked on both sides of the road and extend from the south-eastern end of the existing double yellow lines adjacent to the flank wall of Thomas Beckett School for 40.6 metres south-eastwards.

3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 22 May 2026, and of all associated Orders, can be inspected between 10am and 6pm, at Croydon Central Library, Katharine Street, CR9 1ET for a period of six weeks from the date the Orders were made. Alternatively, all related documents or further information can be requested by email to Parking.Design@croydon.gov.uk

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 18 May 2026 made the above Traffic Orders under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Orders will be:

(a) To remove 27 metres of single yellow lines from both sides of Oval Road, between the south-western boundary of Ark Oval Primary Academy and the raised table adjacent to Oval House, No.1 Oval Road, and replace them with a new zebra crossing and zig zag markings.

(b) To remove the existing School Keep Clear marking outside Ark Oval Primary Academy and replace them with single yellow line waiting restrictions.

Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 22 May 2026, and of all associated Orders, can be inspected between 10am and 6pm, at Croydon Central Library, Katharine Street, CR9 1ET for a period of six weeks from the date the Orders were made. EXEMPTION FOR CYCLISTS TO EXISTING NO ENTRY/ONE-WAY WORKING

VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN ADDISCOMBE EAST

The Croydon (Traffic Movement) (No.2) Traffic Order 2026

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 18 May 2026 made the above Traffic Order under Section 6 and 124 of Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Order will be to introduce an exemption for pedal cycles to existing no entry/one-way working arrangements on the roads/lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

3. Copies of the Order, which will come into operation on 22 May 2026, and of all associated Orders, can be inspected between 10am and 6pm, at Croydon Central Library, Katharine Street, CR9 1ET for a period of six weeks from the date the Orders were made.
