NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U70230- Woodend Lane-Linton Ross On Wye, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U70230-Woodend Lane- Linton Ross On Wye, close to Woodpeckers Barn. Grid Ref: 366888/225226.
The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the U70238 onto the U70239 onto the U70227 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to new ducting works and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 29th of May 2026 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
