TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order: ORDER NO. MCC 149975826 : The City of Manchester (Ogden Lane, Clayton & Openshaw Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2026 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Ogden Lane. The alternative routes for traffic will be: Ashton Old Road, Lees Street, Ogden Lane. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate rectifying defective reinstatement in the carriageway. It is expected that the works will be in progress on 26th May 2026. The order shall come into operation on 26th May 2026 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.

MCC 150012905 : The City of Manchester (Stainer Street, Longsight Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2026 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Stainer Street from Northmoor Road to Rushford Street. The alternative routes for traffic will be: Northmoor Road, Prout Street, Rushford Street and Vice Versa. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate Utility Works. It is expected that the works will be in progress from 27th May 2026 to 27th May 2026 between the hours of 00:00 and 23:59 The order shall come into operation on 27th May 2026 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
