CAMBRIDGESHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

(Various Streets, Orchard Park) (20mph Zone) Order 202-
Cambridgeshire County Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act the effect of which will be to:

Introduce a 20mph zone in Orchard Park, South Cambridgeshire. The draft Order, together with a map showing the roads and lengths of road concerned and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be examined at the office of the undersigned by appointment only, during normal office hours or on the website: https://consultation.appyway.com/ Objections to the proposal, together with the grounds on which they are made or any additional comments, must be sent in writing to the undersigned, or submitted to us using the https://consultation.appyway.com/ portal, or by email to troconsultation. responses@cambridgeshire.gov.uk by 10th June 2026 quoting reference PR1217.

Comments will be used as part of our consultation process and may be published, anonymised, in reports to Committees. If you require further information regarding this proposal please contact policyandregulation@cambridgeshire.gov.uk 

(Cambridge Regional College & Cambridge Science Park, Milton) (20mph Zone) Order 202-

Cambridgeshire County Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act the effect of which will be to: 

Introduce a 20mph zone in King’s Hedges Drive (near to Cambridge Regional College) and Cambridge Science Park, South Cambridgeshire.

The draft Order, together with a map showing the roads and lengths of road concerned and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be examined at the office of the undersigned by appointment only, during normal office hours or on the website: https://consultation.appyway.com/  

Objections to the proposal, together with the grounds on which they are made or any additional comments, must be sent in writing to the undersigned, or submitted to us using the https://consultation.appyway.com/ portal, troconsultation.responses@cambridgeshire.gov.uk by 10th June 2026 quoting reference PR1218.

Cambridgeshire County Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act the effect of which will be to:

Introduce a 20mph speed limit in Fulbourn and Teversham on the following streets: In Fulbourn: Clover Court, Coltsfoot Close, Comfrey Court, Harebell Close, Lucerne Close, Primrose Close, Speedwell Close, Teasel Way, Valerian Court, Violet Close. In Teversham: Antelope Way, Buffalo Way, Capuchin Court, Caribou Way, Dolphin Close, Eland Way, Fennec Close, Fulbourn Old Drift, Highdene Road, Impala Drive, James Nurse Close, Lemur Drive, Loris Court, Mandrill Close, Panther Way, Roedeer Close, Rush Grove, Sable Close, Tamarin Gardens, The Lynx.

(Various Roads, Fen Ditton & Cambridge) (Speed Limits) Order 202-
Cambridgeshire County Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act the effect of which will be to:

Introduce speed limits on various roads in Fen Ditton and Cambridge according to the schedule below:
The roads and lengths of road affected are:

Speed limit Road Extent
20 mph Blue Lion Close For its entire length
20 mph Ditton Lane From its junction with Horningsea Road until its
junction with Newmarket Road, Cambridge.
20 mph Church Street For its entire length
20 mph Green End For its entire length
20 mph High Street For its entire length
20mph High Ditch Road From its junction with Horningsea Road to a point
approximately 345 metres southeast of the
same junction.
20 mph Musgrave Way For its entire length
20 mph Stanbury Close For its entire length
20 mph Wrights Close For its entire length
30 mph High Ditch Road From a point 345 metres southeast of its junction
with Horningsea Road in a south easterly direction
for a distance of 400 metres.
30 mph Horningsea Road From a point 38 metres north of its junction with
Field Lane until its junction with Ditton Lane
40 mph High Ditch Road From a point approximately 745 metres southeast
of its junction with Horningsea Road until its
junction with Newmarket Road.
