Bridge Street - Temporary Road Closure Due To Reinforcement Scheme Works

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: C1308, Bridge Street, Ledbury, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1308, Bridge Street, Ledbury, Bridge St, outside property no 27. Grid Ref: 370773/237673.

The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Lower Rd onto the A417 Leadon Way onto the A438 Homend onto Bye Street and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to reinforcement scheme works and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 27th of May 2026 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months(unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
