The Harrow (Speed Limit) (Amendment No. ) Traffic Order 20
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Harrow proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under Section 84 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and all other enabling powers.
The general effect of the Order would be to introduce a 20mph speed limit on Abbots Drive, Alexandra Avenue (service road fronting Nos. 220 to 294), Alexandra Avenue (service road fronting Nos. 291 to 313), Alexandra Avenue (service road fronting Nos. 302 to 332), Cross Road, Eastleigh Avenue, Jasmine Gardens, Learner Drive, Lucas Avenue, Monks Close, Newton Close, Priest Park Avenue, Rayners Lane (between its junctions with Eastcote Lane and Mayfair Avenue) and Sandringham Crescent.
A copy of the proposed Order and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected until the expiration of a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published at Greenhill Library, Perceval Square, College Road, Harrow, HA1 1GX between 10.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 11.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. Sunday, excluding Bank Holidays. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof, to the Head of Traffic, Highways and Asset Management at transportation@harrow.gov.uk quoting reference 25-09 NS, within 21 days from the date on which this notice is published.
The deadline for objections is 23.59 hours on 10th June 2026.
