What is happening?

KIRKLEES COUNCIL (TRAFFIC REGULATION) (CONSOLIDATION ORDER PROVIDING ON-STREET PARKING PLACES, WAITING, LOADING AND STOPPING RESTRICTIONS AND MIGRATION TO A ‘MAP-BASED’ FORMAT) ORDER 2024 (AMENDMENT NO. 21) ORDER 2025

MOOR LANE, NETHERTON MOOR ROAD, DELPH LANE, NETHERTON

The Council of the Borough of Kirklees have made the above Order under their powers in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which, as it affects a lengths of roads in the Netherton area of the Kirklees district, will be to amend the Kirklees Council (Traffic Regulation) (Consolidation Order Providing On-Street Parking Places, Waiting, Loading And Stopping Restrictions and Migration to a ‘Map-Based’ Format) Order 2024 so as to:

Prohibit the waiting at any time on lengths of the following roads in Netherton:
1. Moor Lane
2. Netherton Moor Road
3. Delph Lane

This Order was made on 19 May 2026 and will take effect on 25 May 2026.

A copy of this Order, together with the plan showing the affected lengths of road and a detailed statement of reasons for making the Order may be examined at:-

Any person wishing to challenge the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirements of that, or of any instrument made under it, have not been complied with may apply to the High Court within six weeks following 22 May 2026.
