Order made: To close that part of C2030 Inn Ln from its junction with Rectory Gardens (NSG Ref 45401112) to its junction with Link Footpath F40311. Absence Cl – Inn Ln.

Reason: Remedial works by STW.

Alternative route: C2030 Inn Ln (part), B4193 Rectory Ln, C2028 Quarry Bank, C2028 Waresley Rd, C2030 Old Worcester Rd, C2030 Inn Ln (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day.

Order made: To close that part of:

a) U12147 New Rd from its junction U12135 Castle Rd to its junction U12151 Corporation St.

b) U12135 Castle Rd to prohibit turning left onto U12147 New Rd when travelling in an easterly direction, for the duration of the U12150 Dixon St to prohibit turning right onto U12147 New Rd when travelling in a westerly direction, for the duration of the work.

Reason: Rebuild of displaced parapet following road traffic collision by WCC.

No access for emergency services, diversion route must be maintained.

Proposed Order: To close that part of U10006 Cross Bank from its junction with C2194 Lye Head Rd to its junction with U10007 Bine Ln.

Reason: To repair damage to a house due to a road traffic collision by Private Contractor.

Alternative route: C2194 Lye Head Rd, A456 Callow Hill, C2021 Bliss Gate Rd, U10006 Bliss Gate Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days (24hrs). Commencing: 15 June 2026.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)

(U13623 Dunclent Lane, Stone) (Temporary 30 mph Speed Limit) Order 2026

Proposed order: To impose a temporary 30 mph speed limit on that part of U13623 Dunclent Ln from its junction with A448 Stone Hill for its entire length.

Reason: Safe working during replacement water main by STW.

Exemptions: Special Forces vehicles.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 29 days (24hrs). Commencing: 15 June 2026.

(Wyre Forest District – Kidderminster area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2007 (Variation) Order 2026 (Disabled Person’s Parking Space on George Street, Kidderminster)

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to create a disabled person’s parking space on the following length and side of road in Kidderminster:

George Street: from a point 82 metres north east of its junction with Cherry Orchard for a distance of 6.6 metres in a north westerly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.

(Hurcott Village, Kidderminster) (30 mph Speed Limit) (Revocation and Proposal) Order 2026

On 7 May 2026 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to extend the speed limit on the following lengths of roads in Kidderminster to 30 miles per hour:

UC12400 Hurcott Lane: from a point 157 metres north of its junction with U12401 (Hurcott Road) in a southerly direction to a point 190 metres south of that junction.

There are exemptions in the Order for Special Forces Vehicles.

The Order will come into operation on 28 May 2026.
