What is happening?

PUBLIC NOTICES

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (40 mph Speed Limit) (Thornhill) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 15-5-26.

This Order introduces a 40mph speed limit on the B8031, Thornhill in the interests of public safety. This restriction is being implemented as part of Stirling Council’s roll out of Walking, Cycle, Friendly Routes.

A COPY of the Order can be requested by e-mailing traffic@stirling.gov.uk and quoting Ref No TM/6 - SRO/2026(119).

Anyone wishing to question the validity of this Order, should write to the Court of Session within six weeks of 15-5-26.

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (B822, Kippen) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 15-5-26.

This Order will close: B822 From its junction with Fore Road to its junction with Glentirranmuir from 0930 hours until 1530 hours from 8-6-26 until 21-6-26 to facilitate public utility works.

Emergency service access will be maintained.

Alternative Routes: Via B8037, A811, B822 and vice versa.

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (B818, Carron Valley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 15-5-26.

This Order will close: B818 From its junction with the B822 to the point where it meets the Stirling / Falkirk Council Boundary from 0800 hours until 1800 hours from 9-6-26 until 22-6-26 to facilitate public utility works.

Emergency service access will be maintained.

Alternative route: n/a 15 minute obstruction.

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (B818, Crow Road, Fintry) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 15-5-26.

This Order will close: B818 From its junction with Kippen Road to the point where it meets the B822 from 8-6-26 until 10-6-26 to facilitate public utility works.

Emergency service access will be maintained.

Alternative Routes: Via B818, A875, A81, A891, B822 and vice versa.
