What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES

Public Notices - Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Section 14 (1) - Temporary Parking Restrictions Craig Road, Ham & Various others. (Reference 26/077)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in various streets in Ham.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in the roads detailed in the schedule, between the dates indicated. The parking restrictions will operate on a rolling basis.

3. The order will come into effect on 01 June 2026. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 01 June until 31 July 2026. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Highways Act 1980 – Section 90c - Proposed Raised Table Hill Rise, Richmond (Reference 26/80)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames proposes to relocate a raised table in Hill Rise, Richmond.

The raised table proposed is to be located in Hill Rise, Richmond between its junctions with The Vineyard and Holbrooke Place. The table will be approximately 106 metres in length, including ramps of approximately 1.5 metres. The ramps will have a 1:20 gradient.

A drawing showing the proposed design will be available for public inspection, quoting reference 26/080, at: The Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9:15am and 5:00pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays or may be viewed on the Council’s website at: http://www.richmond.gov.uk/public_notices.

Persons wishing to make representations regarding proposals should write to: The Head of Engineering, Traffic and Parking Policy, London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham, TW1 3BZ, within 21 days of the date of this Notice giving the grounds of their objection. Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Section 14 (1) Temporary Road Closure St Johns Road, Richmond. (Reference 26/076)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate Gas works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in St Johns Road, Richmond.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in St Johns Road, Richmond outside numbers 23-27.

3. Whilst the works take place, both St Johns Road and Larkfield Road will be made two way.

4. An alternative route for diverted traffic will be available via: St Johns Road, Larkfield Road & Church Road and Vice versa.

5. The order will come into effect 01 June 2026 These works are anticipated to be in progress from 01 June to 06 June 2026. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

6. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
