Proposed order: To impose a temporary 30 mph speed limit on that part of A449 Malvern Rd from its junction with U62028 Sparrowhall Ln for a distance of 350 metres in an easterly direction and to temporarily suspend The Worcestershire County Council (A449 Powick) (50 Mph Speed Limit) Order 2023 for the duration of the work.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: Special forces vehicles.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 20 days (24hrs) between 15 June 2026 and 10 July 2026.

(Footpath WR-628 (part) Worcester and HW-562 Hallow) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the Order made by Worcestershire County Council on 16 November 2023 the effect of which is to close Footpath WR-628 (part) Worcester and HW-562 Hallow for its entire length which was due to expire on 24 May 2026 has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for the Department for Transport until the works to which it relates have been completed or until 24 May 2028 whichever is sooner. Any further extension will require the approval of the Secretary of State.

The Order has been made due to Footpath collapsing into the river.

Alternative route: There is no alternative route.

(City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2026 [Disabled Person’s Parking Space on Victoria Avenue, Worcester]

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to create a disabled person’s parking space on the following length and side of road in Worcester:

Victoria Avenue (east side): from a point 96.7 metres south east of its junction with Albert Road for a distance of 6 metres in a south easterly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.

(No Stopping on School Keep Clear Markings) Order 2026

On 7 May 2026 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit stopping at any time on School Keep Clear Markings on the following length of road in Martley:

B4204 Martley (Martley Primary School) (south side): from a point 96m west of its junction with Hawthorn Close, for a distance of 83 metres in a westerly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.

The Order will come into operation on 28 May 2026
