TRAFFIC ORDERS, EASTBURY WAY, STRATTON ROAD
AND PEGLARS WAY, SWINDON
Notice is given that Swindon Borough Council made the following Orders under the provisions of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is as follows:
Swindon Borough Council (Waiting and Loading Restrictions and Parking Places Consolidation) Order 2021 (Variation No. 2) Order 2026
Introduce ‘no waiting at any time’ on Stratton Road and New Dawn Place Junction.
Swindon Borough Council (Waiting and Loading Restrictions and Parking Places Consolidation) Order 2021 (Variation No. 10) Order 2025
To introduce ‘no waiting at any time’ on Eastbury Way and Addinsell Road, Swindon.
Swindon Borough Council (Waiting and Loading Restrictions and Parking Places Consolidation) Order 2021 (Variation No. 13) Order 2025
To introduce ‘no waiting at any time’ on Peglars Way from the junction with Barwell Avenue, Wichelstowe.
Swindon Borough Council (Various Roads, Swindon) (Speed Limits) Consolidation Order 2022 (Variation No. 8) 2025
WICHELSTOWE, SWINDON
To introduce a 20mph zone on Peglars Way, Barwell Avenue and Deanery Drive.
The Orders will be operative as of 22 May 2026. A copy of the documents for the Orders may be inspected online at
www.swindon.gov.uk/trafficregulationorders
If you wish to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders, you may, within 6 weeks from 20 May 2026 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
