(Heath Road, Tending) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Heath Road, Tending in the District of Tending, from a point approximately 260m south east of its junction with Stones Green Road for a distance of approximately 20m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th June 2026 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30026791997 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bergholt Road, Colchester in the City of Colchester, from its junction with Enid Way for a distance of approximately 20m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th June 2026 – (18:00-06:00) for 1 night, or where stated on a valid permit (AD01310806141 – Anglian Water Business (National) Limited). - To temporarily close that length of London Road, Great Horkesley in the City of Colchester, from a point approximately 790m north west, north east, south east then north east of its junction with School Lane for a distance of approximately 170m in a north easterly then north westerly direction.
- To temporarily close that length of Tog Lane, Great Horkesley in the City of Colchester, from its junction with London Road for a distance of approximately 35m in a north easterly direction.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
- To temporarily close those lengths of road in the District of Tendring as specified in the Schedule.
- A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of the carriageway on the above lengths of road, for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
“The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time” restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only.
