What is happening?

North Yorkshire Council, Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Tod Holes Lane, Wigglesworth, Order 2026, No. 231

We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Tod Holes Lane, Wigglesworth in the vicinity of Tod Holes Bridge for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 26/05/26 & 09/07/26, due to bridge repairs. However, the max duration of this Order is until 3/12/26.

Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking, New Road, Ingleton, Amendment No 64, Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that on 15/05/26 The North Yorkshire Council made an Order under sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) & 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act & under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which is to amend “North Yorkshire County Council (Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking) (District of Craven) Consolidation Order 2013” by introducing the restrictions specified in the schedules below:-

Schedule 1 - Waiting Prohibited At All Times With Exemptions

Ingleton, New Road, North side from junction of Rarber Top Lane to North West for 60m.

Ingleton, New Road, South side from junction of Rarber Top Lane to North West for 60m.

Ingleton, New Road, North side from 132m North West from the junction of Rarber Top Lane to North West for 277m.

Ingleton, New Road, South side from 132m North West from the junction of Rarber Top Lane to North West for 277m.

Schedule 2 - Waiting Prohibited At All Times With No Loading Or Unloading

Ingleton, New Road, North side from 60m North West from junction of Rarber Top Lane to North West for 72m.

Ingleton, New Road, South side from 60m North West from junction of Rarber Top Lane to North West for 72m.

Ingleton, New Road, North side from 409m North West from junction of Rarber Top Lane to North West for 74m.

A copy of the Order, which comes into force on 25/05/26, together with a map showing the roads affected may be examined at County Hall, Northallerton & at Ingleton Community Library, Ingleton, upon normal opening hours during normal office hours from 21/05/26 to 26/06/26 & also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map or www.northyorks.gov.uk/traffic-regulation-orders.

If you wish to question the validity of the above Order or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any Instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks of 15/05/26 make application to the High Court for the purpose.
