THE A30 TRUNK ROAD (INNIS DOWNS)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (a) intends to make an Order on the A30 trunk road in the County of Cornwall to allow resurfacing and associated maintenance works to be carried out in safety.
The works are expected to take place commencing on or after 8 June 2026 and be completed by 4 July 2026.
The effect of the Order would be to:
(a) impose a mandatory 50 mph speed limit on the A30 westbound from 1600 metres to 1100 metres east of the overbridge at Innis Downs Junction;
(b) impose a mandatory 10 mph speed limit on the A30 westbound from 1100 metres to 500 metres east of the overbridge at Innis Downs Junction and the westbound exit slip road at Innis Downs Junction whilst convoy working is taking place;
The speed limits (which would not apply to emergency services or special forces vehicles) would be clearly indicated by traffic signs throughout the works.
The Order would come into force on 6 June 2026 and have a maximum duration of 18 months.
