What is happening?

REDCAR AND CLEVELAND BOROUGH COUNCIL

MAJUBA ROAD, REDCAR (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2026

Not less than 7 days herefrom the Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended in order to facilitate the holding of a relevant event.

The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in the lengths of road specified in the schedule below. Access will be available to the Golf Club and Caravan Park only). Local diversions will be in operation.

The Order will come into operation on 6 June and remain in operation for 2 days.

SCHEDULE
Majuba Road, Redcar from the junction of Newcomen Terrace to the junction with High Street West, Redcar to allow for the Kite Festival Event.
