WALSALL METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 23
HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 – SECTIONS 90 A-F

Walsall Council, in exercise of its powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and Sections 90A – 90F of the Highways Act 1980 proposes to establish a full width raised zebra crossing facility (5.7m long, 75mm high) at:

Noose Lane, Willenhall: 98 metres southwest of its junction with Wellington Place.

The purpose of the crossing is to allow safe pedestrian movement between the surrounding local residential areas, public footpaths and Fibbersley Park Primary Academy.

Walsall Council, in exercise of its powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) proposes to establish zebra crossing facilities at:

Brownhills Road, Walsall Wood 50 metres southeast of its junction with Occupation Road.
Birmingham Road, Walsall 5 metres northwest of its junction with Hanch Place.
Collingwood Drive, Pheasey: 5 metres west of its junction with Tyndale Crescent.

The purpose of the crossings is to allow safe pedestrian movement between the surrounding local residential areas, nearby schools, public footpaths and amenities.

Walsall Council, in exercise of its powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) proposes to establish a signalised (Puffin) crossing facility at:

Pelsall Lane, Rushall: 12 metres southeast of the vehicular access to Rushall Primary School.

The purpose of the crossing is to allow safe pedestrian movement between the surrounding local residential areas, Rushall Primary School and public footpaths.
