HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN bod y Cyngor fel Awdurdod Priffyrdd Pen-y-bont ar Ogwr, drwy arfer ei bwerau o dan Adran 14(1) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y'i diwygiwyd), wedi gwneud Gorchymyn sy’n cyflwyno'r cyfyngiad dros dro a nodir yn yr amserlen isod.
Mae'r Gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol er mwyn cwblhau gwaith ar y prif gyflenwad nwy ac mae er budd diogelwch y cyhoedd.
Bydd y Gorchymyn yn dod i rym ar 25/5/26 a rhagwelir y bydd y Gorchymyn ar waith o 08:00am ar 25/5/26 tan 17:00pm ar 19/6/26 ac yn parhau i fod mewn grym am hyd at 18 mis neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi'i gwblhau, pa un bynnag sy'n dod yn gyntaf.
Amserlen Ni chaiff unrhyw berson fynd â cherbyd ar hyd y darnau canlynol o ffordd:
Adran 1: Poplar Road, Porthcawl o'i chyffordd â Vintin Lane, i Rhif 1 Wick Cottages, pellter o oddeutu 127 metr.
Adran 2: Vintin Lane, Porthcawl o'r gyffordd â New Road i'r gyffordd â Poplar Road, pellter o oddeutu 35 metr. Ni ellir darparu mynediad drwy’r cyfyngiadau i'r Heddlu, y Gwasanaethau Tân ac Ambiwlans sy'n ymateb i argyfyngau.
Bydd mynediad i gerddwyr i bob eiddo o fewn y cyfyngiad ar hyd llwybrau diffiniedig gydol y cyfnod cau.
Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer cerbydau fydd trwy New Road, Northways, Poplar Road, ac i'r gwrthwyneb.Fodd bynnag, dim ond ar yr adeg ac i'r graddau y bydd yr arwyddion traffig a ragnodir gan Reoliadau a Chyfarwyddiadau Cyffredinol Arwyddion Traffig 2016 yn dangos y bydd y cyfyngiadau'n berthnasol.

BRIDGEND COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council as the Highway Authority for Porthcawl in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) have made an Order which temporarily introduces the restriction set out in the schedule below.
The Order is necessary due to the completion of gas main replacement works and is in the interest of public safety.
The Order will come into force on the 25/5/26 and it is anticipated that the Order will be operative from 08:00am on the 25/5/26 until 17:00pm on the 19/6/26 and will continue in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until such time as the works are completed, whichever is the sooner.
Schedule No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along the following lengths of road:
Section 1: Poplar Road, Porthcawl from its junction with Vintin Lane, to No.1 Wick Cottages, a distance of approximately 127metres.
Section 2: Vintin Lane, Porthcawl from its junction with New Road to its junction with Poplar Road, a distance of approximately 35metres.Access cannot be provided through the restriction for Police, Fire and Ambulance Services responding to emergencies.
Pedestrian access to all properties within the restriction will be maintained along defined routes throughout the period of the closure.
The alternative route for vehicles via New Road, Northways, Poplar Road, and vice versa.
The restrictions shall however only apply at such time and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
