TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works to be executed on or near Dawson Lane, Tong, Bradford has made the above-named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Dawson Lane from its junction with Tong Street to the side of No.136 Tong Street.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via Dawson Lane (unaffected section), Ferrand Avenue, Shetcliffe Lane, Tong Street and vice versa.
The Order comes into operation at 08:00 hours on the 26th May 2026 and remains in force until 17:00 hours on the 30th May 2026 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
