What is happening?

CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

(WAITING LOADING AND PARKING) (CONSOLIDATION)

(AMENDMENT NO.*) ORDER 20**

VARIOUS ROADS IN CRAVEN, ILKLEY, KEIGHLEY & WORTH VALLEY

NOTICE is hereby given that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council proposes to make the above Order under their powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the general effect of which will be to -

A. In Craven:

1. introduce “no waiting at any time” on lengths of the following roads:

Middleway, Skipton Rd, Purcell Drive, Clifford St, Barrett St, Hothfield St, Green Ave, Tufton St, West View, Belton Rd, and Ryefield Way (Silsden); Haxton Boulevard (Eastburn); Back Beck Lane, and Bolton Rd (Addingham);

2. remove a disabled person’s parking bay from Gloucester Ave (Silsden);

3. introduce “limited waiting Mon-Sun 8am-8pm Max stay 3 hours, No return within 3 hours” on a length of A65 Skipton Rd (Addingham); and

4. remove a disabled person’s parking bay from Elmsley St (to be replaced with permit parking only) (Steeton).

B. In Ilkley:

1. introduce “no waiting at any time” on lengths of the following roads:

Belle Vue, Cowpasture Rd, Springs Ln, Crossbeck Rd, Middleton Rd, Little Ln, East Parade, Ben Rhydding Rd, Wells Rd, Keighley Rd, Station Rd, A65 Skipton Rd, Grove Rd, The Lutyens, Lister St, and Alexandra Crescent (Ilkley); Wheatley Ln, Wheatley Ave, Brighton Rd, and Moorfield Rd (Ben Rhydding);

2. introduce “no loading at any time” on a length of Station Rd (Ilkley);

3. introduce “goods vehicle loading 7am to 9am” on a length of Station Rd (Ilkley);

4. revocation of existing “no waiting at any time” on a length of Grove Rd (Ilkley); and

5. reduce “limited waiting bay” restriction on Springs Ln (Ilkley).

C. In Keighley:

1. introduce “no waiting at any time” on lengths of the following roads:

Sunderland St, Russell St, Asthall Close, Redcliffe St, Berry Ln, Kensington St, Oakworth Rd, Spring Row, Otley St, Bradford Rd, Ella St, Bronte St, Dawson Rd, Park Ln, Pitt St, Quarry St, Grace St, Parkwood St, Oakworth Rd, Sunny Hill Ave, and Temple St (Keighley); Aireworth Close and Aireworth Rd (Stockbridge); Grove Mill Drive (Ingrow); Spring Ave and Moss Carr Rd (Long Lee); Granby Ln, Granby Drive, Hospital Rd, Grange Rd, Arnside Ave, and Cross Bay (Riddlesden);

2. introduce “limited waiting Mon-Sat 8am-6pm 30 minutes, no return within 2 hours” on lengths of Cavendish St and Hanover St (Keighley);

3. introduce “limited waiting Mon-Sat 8am-6pm 2 hours, No return within 2 hours” on lengths of Russell St (Keighley);

4. remove a length of “no waiting at any time” from Goulbourne St (Keighley);

5. remove lengths of limited waiting restrictions from lengths of Temple St and Russell St (Keighley);

6. remove a disabled person’s parking bay from Gale St (Keighley);

7. introduce “bus stop clearway” on a length of Granby Lane (Riddlesden); and

8. shorten a length of “no waiting at any time” at Sunny Hill Ave (Keighley).

D. In Worth Valley:

1. introduce “no waiting at any time” on lengths of the following roads:

Belle Isle Rd, Ebor Ln, Lees Ln, Cold St, West Ln, Oak St, Mytholmes Ln, Branwell Drive, Providence Ln, North View Terrace, Victoria Ave, Baden St (Haworth); Hebden Bridge Rd and Denby Mount (Oxenhope); Vale Mill Ln and Lees Bank Rd (Cross Roads); Slaymaker Ln, Hillside Ave, Hillside Grove, Manor Park, Providence Ln, Mill Ln, Wide Ln, and Slack Ln (Oakworth); and

2. remove a disabled person’s parking bay from Windsor Crescent (Oakworth).

A copy of the draft Order together with maps showing the affected roads and the Statement of Reasons for the proposal may be examined during normal office hours at: the Customer Services Reception, Ground Floor, City Hall, Bradford BD1 1HY; Keighley Town Hall, Bow Street, Keighley, BD21 3PA; or Ilkley Library, Station Road, Ilkley, LS29 8HA. Copies are also on the Council’s website at https://www.bradford.gov.uk/transport-and-travel/highways/traffic-regulation-order, and can be obtained from Chris Hird, Traffic Engineer – Dept of Growth, by email chris.hird@bradford.gov.uk quoting reference number 106110/CON-1A.

If you wish to object to the proposal Order you should send the grounds for your objection in writing either by post to the address below or by e-mail to objections@bradford.gov.uk to be received no later than 12 noon 18 June 2026 quoting aforesaid reference number.
