U8194 NEWTON HALL TO STELLING HALL NEWTON

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U8194 Newton Hall To Stelling Hall from its junction with C247 Stelling Hall To Military Road heading in a south westwards direction for a distance of 650 metres in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective from the 17th June 2026 until the 19th June 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 17th June 2026 between the hours of 09:00 & 17:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 19th June 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via C247, C246, C251, U8194 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly. ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

U17 CHESWICK JUNCTION TO GOSWICK, CHESWICK

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U17 Cheswick Junction to Goswick 7 metres north eastwards from its junction with Goswick Station Cottages heading in a north eastwards direction for a distance of 52 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 16th June 2026 until the 17th June 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 16th June 2026 until the 17th June 2026 between the hours of 23:00 and 08:30.

There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic.

U6116 COOPIES LANE MORPETH

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of U6116 Coopies Lane from its junction with the A192 in a westerly direction for a length of 575 metres in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective from the 1st June 2026 until the 1st December 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 1st June 2026 until the 6th June 2026 between the hours of 20:00 & 06:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 1st December 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being A192, A196, U6116, and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U3138 Turner Street from its point with the rear of 93 Queen Street heading in a south westwards direction for a distance of 20 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 1st June 2026 until the 11th June 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 1st June 2026 until the 4th June 2026 between the hours of 08:00 & 18:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 11th June 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via Turner Street, Lawson Street, George Street, Bridge Street, Queen Street, and North Street and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

U6107 RECTORY PARK MORPETH

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6107 Rectory Park from its point opposite 10 Rectory Park in a south-easterly direction for a length of 30 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective on 9th June 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed between the hours 08:00 and 16:00 during this period.

There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U9013 Ingoe Moor Junction to Sandybraes Junction from its junction with C224 Quarry Closure Point to Boghall Junction in a northerly direction for a length of 1535 metres in the County of Northumberland

The Order is to be effective from the 8th June 2026 until the 12th June 2026. It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 8th June 2026 until the 9th June 2026 and that it will be closed at all times during this period; however the Order will remain in place until the 12th June 2026

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being C224, C211, and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 16A

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat Northumberland County

Council (“the Council”),in exercise of its powers as the local traffic authority under section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

(“the Act”)and all other enabling powers, has on the 13 May 2026 made the Northumberland County Council Morpeth Fair Day 2026 Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2026 (“the TTRO”).

The Council has made the TTRO for the purposes of facilitating the holding of Morpeth Fair Day 2026 (“the Event”)by prohibiting traffic on the A192 Bridge Street from its junction with Chantry Place to the Newgate Street roundabout, the A192 Newgate Street from the Newgate Street roundabout to its junction with Manchester Street, the U6110 Newmarket for its entire length and the U6110 Oldgate for its entire length in Morpeth (“Road One”)and the A192 Shields Road from Coopies Lane to Mafeking roundabout, the A197 Castle Bank for its entire length, the A197 Bridge End for its entire length, the A197 road over Telford Bridge for its entire length and the A192 Bridge Street from its junction with the road over Telford Bridge to its junction with Chantry Place (“Road Two”)by restricting traffic, by introducing a no waiting or loading except for taxis onthe U6106 Manchester Street south side from number 18A Manchester Street to number 8 Manchester Street (“Road Three”)and by suspending the taxi ranks onthe B1337 Bridge Street south side from number 2 Bridge Street to number 8 Bridge Street and the B1337 Bridge Street north side from number 4 Market Place to number 6 Market Street (“Road Four”).

The TTRO shall come into force at the following times, subject to the provisions of section 16B of the Act:

•   In respect of Road One, Road Three and Road Four, 03:00 hours on 14 June 2026 and will remain in force until 19:00 hours on 14 June 2026; and

•   In respect of Road Two, 11:50 hours on 14 June 2026 and will remain in force until 12:00 hours on 14 June 2026

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being for traffic travelling south via the B1337, Stanley Terrace, Manchester Street and vice versa, for traffic travelling north via Curly Kews, Church Walk, Spelvit Lane, St Marys Field, the A197, the B1337, Castle Bank, Bridge Street and vice versa and for traffic for Matheson Gardens via the U6110 Elliot Birdge to Bridge Street and vice versa. Should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly. All restrictions on the Road will be sign-posted and staffed and will remain in force only for as long as is necessary.

Nothing in the TTRO shall apply to:

a.   Any activities taking place on the Road One and Road Two andrelated to the organisation and holding of the Event;

b.  Anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a policeofficer or a Duly Authorised Officer of the Council.

c.   Any vehicle being used by, or for the purposes of, the emergencyservices;

d.  Any vehicle being used by or for the purposes of a statutoryundertaker (e.g. the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which requires vehicles to be brought onto the

Road One and Road Two); or

e.   Pedestrian access to any premises adjoining the Road One andRoad Two.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

U9083 THE CRESCENT DARRAS HALL PONTELAND

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat Northumberland County Council have made an Order to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the The Crescent, Darras Hall from its point with the front of 2 The Crescent heading westwards then southwards and then eastwards for a distance of 220 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 3rd June 2026 until the 11th July 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 3rd June 2026 until the 20th June 2026 between the hours of 09:00 & 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 11th July 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via U9083, C348 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.
