CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

LUMB LANE, BRADFORD

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of telecommunication works proposed to be executed on or near Lumb Lane, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Lumb Lane from its junction with Picton Street to its junction with Green Lane.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Lumb Lane (unaffected section), Carlisle Road, Whetley Hill, White Abbey Road, Westgate and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 19:00 hours on the 30th of May 2026 and remain in force until 03:00 hours on the 2nd of June 2026 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
