(VARIOUS STREETS, HOLYROOD, SEDGLEY, ST MARY’S WARDS, PRESTWICH) (PARKLIFE 2026 EVENT) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING, TEMPORARY CLOSURE, PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND LOADING, PROHIBITION OF STOPPING (CLEARWAY), RESIDENTS PARKING ZONE, ONE-WAY WORKING AND HACKNEY CARRIAGE STAND)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of the likelihood of danger to the public during the holding of Parklife at Heaton Park, the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intends in not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be:-

4. To introduce a temporary prohibition of stopping restriction in the following length of roads specified in column 2 during the dates and times specified in column 1 in Schedule 4 below:

7. To introduce a temporary suspension of the southbound bus lane in the following length of roads specified in column 2 during the dates and times specified in column 1 in Schedule 7 below:

8. The proposed Order shall come into operation on 20/06/2026 and will remain in force from Saturday 20/06/2026 until Monday 22/06/2026 or until completion of the event, whichever is sooner.

9. If there are safety concerns, the restrictions may remain in place longer than specified above.

10. The restrictions will only have effect at such times and to such extent as indicated by the display of traffic signs and/or notices.
