(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (Company No. 9346363) has made an order on the A14 Trunk Road, in Kettering, in North Northamptonshire, to allow improvement and bridge maintenance works to be carried out.
The effect of the Order will be to close the exit slip road leading from the westbound carriageway of the A14 to its roundabout with the A509 and Isham Road, at Kettering.
The work will be carried out overnight between 20:30 hours and 05:30 hours and is expected to start on Monday 1 June 2026 and continue for 2 weeks. The Order will come into force on 25 May 2026.
Vehicles being used for police, fire and rescue authority or ambulance purposes, and vehicles being used in connection with the works will be exempt from the closure.
The diversion route via Junction 8 of the A14 will be signed.
