Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 47, 49, 53, and Parts IV and III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended)

Effect of the order

1. To Revoke: ‘Resident Permit Parking Area R Mon-Sat 8:00am - 8:00pm’

To Implement: ‘Disabled Badge Holders Only’ Bay.

2. To Upgrade: ‘Advisory Disabled Bay’ to Enforceable ‘Disabled Badge Holders Only’ Bay.

3. To Implement: ‘Disabled Badge Holders Only’ Bay.

This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Harlow District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by substituting map tiles:

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 84(1)(a) and (2) and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).

Effect of the order:
To Implement: a ‘40mph Speed Limit’ (currently a 50mph Speed Limit)

‘The Essex County Council (Various Roads, Stapleford Abbotts) (Restricted Roads) Order 2007’ and ‘The Essex County Council (B175 Stapleford Road, Stapleford Abbotts) 40mph and 50mph Order 2013’ and ‘The Essex County Council (Bournerbridge Lane, Hoe Lane, Hook Lane, Manor Road & New Road, Lambourne/Stapleford Abbotts) (30mph & 40mph Order 2015 is hereby revoked in its entirety however, all restrictions shall continue in force by virtue of this new Order.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Lane, Matching Tye in the District Epping Forest, from a point approximately 260m north east of its junction with Matching Tye Road a distance of approximately 90m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd June 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411002WGKLH44G – Openreach Limited).

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach Limited.
An alternative route is available via: Church Lane, B183 – Chelmsford Road, Sawbridgeworth Road, (No Station Road) , Hatfield Heath Road, Station Road, A1184, A414, A1025, Sheering Road, Churchgate Street, Hobbs Cross Road, Threshers Bush, Workers Road, High Laver Road, Matching Road, Matching Tye Road, Church Lane and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 28th May 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(King Street, High Ongar) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of King Street, High Ongar in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Chelmsford Road a distance of approximately 60m in a south easterly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd June 2026 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX06166514JB – Affinity Water Limited).

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while disconnection of water supply works are undertaken by Affinity Water Limited.
An alternative route is available via: King Street, Rookery Road, A414 and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 28th May 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Moreton Road/Cripsey Avenue, Ongar) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Moreton Road, Ongar in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 30m north west of its junction with Brookfields for a distance of approximately 50m in a north westerly direction.

2. To temporarily close that length of Cripsey Avenue, Ongar in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Moreton Road for a distance of approximately 20m in a south westerly direction.

These closures are scheduled to commence on 23rd June 2026 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410251940/MX04410251940 – Affinity Water).

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. These closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while chamber replacement works are undertaken by Affinity Water.
Alternative routes are available via:

The Order will come into effect on 28th May 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Mount End Road, Theydon Mount) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mount End Road, Theydon Mount in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Mount Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a north easterly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th June 2026 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410244563 – Affinity Water).

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while water mains repair works are undertaken by Affinity Water.
An alternative route is available via: Banks Lane, Mount Road and vice versa (with access only into Mount End Road).
The Order will come into effect on 28th May 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, District of Epping Forest) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order (No.8) 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of road in the District of Epping Forest as specified in the schedule.

2. A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force.

"The Essex County Council (Epping Forest District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 28th May 2026 exact dates will be specified on one.network. These roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public.

Access will be maintained for emergency services.

Diversion route will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Etheridge Road, Loughton in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Westall Road to its junction with Appleton Road a distance of approximately 130m.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th June 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2402092 – Essex County Council).

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via: Westall Road, Burney Drive, Colebrook Lane and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 14th May 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Woodgreen Road, Waltham Abbey) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Woodgreen Road, Waltham Abbey in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 80m south west of its junction with Horseshoe Hill for a distance of approximately 75m in a south westerly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th June 2026 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MU091NLS000814325560045 – Thames Water Utilities Limited).

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Thames Water Utilities Limited.
An alternative route is available via:
1. Upshire Road, Paternoster Hill, Parklands, Crooked Mile, Sewardstone Road, Farm Hill Road, Honey Lane, A121 (with access only into Woodgreen Road) and vice versa.
2. Horseshoe Hill, Copthall Green, Crown Hill, B1393, A121 (with access only into Woodgreen Road) and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 14th May 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, District of Harlow) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) & (Velizy Avenue, Harlow & Fifth Avenue, Harlow) (Temporary Suspension of Bus Lane) (No.3) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those lengths of road in the District of Harlow as specified in the schedule.

2. To temporarily suspend the bus lane in that length of Velizy Avenue, Harlow in the District of Harlow from a point approximately 245m south east of its junction with Fifth Avenue for a distance of approximately 120m in a south easterly direction as detailed in "The Essex County Council (Various Roads, Harlow) (Bus Gate) Order 2026".

3. To temporarily suspend the bus lane in that length of Fifth Avenue, Harlow in the District of Harlow from the junction of Gladwin Way for a distance of approximately 400m in a south easterly then south westerly direction (southbound only) and from the junction of Hammarskjold Road for a distance of approximately 420m in a north easterly then north westerly direction (northbound only) as detailed in "The Essex County Council (Various Roads, Harlow) (Bus Gate) Order 2026".

4. A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on those above lengths of road in the schedule for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
