(U2120 BASSETTHWAITE AND C2003 DOVENBY)
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out (“the Works”), Cumberland Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the following sections of road:
1. U2120 Bassethwaite, from its junction with the A591, extending in a north westerly direction for approx. 470m.
Alternative Route: via the unrestricted section of the U2120, U2119 and A591.
Duration: From 26 May 2026 for approx. 1 day between 0930 and 1530 hours (Ref: TTROC/18125)
2. C2003 Dovenby, from its junction with the C2038, extending in a north westerly direction for approx. 460m.
Alternative Route: via the unrestricted section of the C2003, U2093 and C2038.
Duration: From 1 June 2026 for approx. 2 days between 0930 and 1530 hours, each day (Ref: TTROC/18221)
A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times

The Order will come into operation on 26 May 2026 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restrictions will only be required as detailed above, and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
