(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable carriageway works to be carried out (“the Works”), Cumberland Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit all traffic (i.e. vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists), from proceeding along that section of the U2092 Bridekirk, from its junction with the U2093 extending in an overall northerly direction for approx. 2.1km to its junction with the U2094.
A suitable alternative route for vehicles will be signed and available via the U2094, C2003, Tallentire and U2093.

The Order will come into operation on 22 May 2026 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
