(PUBLIC FOOTPATH SB29 (PART) – GRAFTON WAY TOWCESTER
PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2023
On the 10th day of February 2026 West Northamptonshire Council confirmed the above Order without modification. The effect of the Order will be to divert part of Public Footpath SB29 Grafton Way Towcester from a line commencing at point at point A on the Order map at National Grid Reference (NGR) SP 6937 4678 where it continues in a generally north westerly direction for approximately 446 metres to point H on the Order map at NGR SP 6924 4720 to a line running from point A on the Order map NGR 6937 4678 and proceeds in a generally northerly direction for a distance of approximately 45 metres to point B on the Order map at NGR SP 6937 4682, where it then continues in a generally north-easterly direction for a distance of approximately 110 metres to point C on the Order map at NGR SP 6946 4688, where it then continues in a generally north-easterly direction for a distance of approximately 75 metres to point D on the Order map at NGR SP 6950 4694, where it then continues in a generally northerly direction for a distance of approximately 100 metres to point E on the Order map at NGR SP 6947 4703, where it then continues in a generally north-westerly direction for a distance of approximately 187 metres to point F on the Order map at NGR SP 6934 4712, where it then continues in a generally northerly direction for a distance of approximately 70 metres to point G on the Order map at NGR SP 6933 4717, where it then continues in a generally westerly direction for a distance of approximately 100 metres to point H on the Order map at NGR SP 6924 4720 as shown on the Order map.
A copy of the Order as confirmed and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at the offices of the Joint Chief Executive Directors of Pathfinder Legal Services, One Angel Square, Angel Street, Northampton, NN1 1ED between the hours of 9am and 12 noon and 2pm and 4pm Monday to Friday inclusive. Copies of the Order and map may be bought from the Head of Service for Property & Housing and Planning & Highways, Pathfinder Legal Services Limited at the price of £5.00 + VAT.
The Order came into force on the date the West Northamptonshire Council certified that the terms of Article 2 have been complied with but if any person aggrieved by the Order desires to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order, they may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within 6 weeks from the date on which notice is first published as required by paragraph 7 of schedule 14 to that Act.
