(East Grinstead: Turners Hill Road)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Turners Hill Road in East Grinstead from Vowels Lane westwards to a point 1KM east of Siskin Avenue. The road closure is needed to allow repairs to a highway embankment to take place in safety.

The Order will come into effect on 1 June 2026 and remain in force until 3 July 2026. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.

During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times. (Hurstpierpoint & Sayers Common)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Mill Lane in Hurstpierpoint & Sayers Common from Pookbourne Lane eastwards to Cuckfield Road. The road closure is needed to allow a new vehicular access to be constructed in safety.

The Order will come into effect on 8 June 2026 and remain in force until 3 July 2026. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.

During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times. (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Oaklands Road in Haywards Heath, from its junction with Boltro Road, westwards for 25M.

The road closure is needed to allow new a new sewer to be connected in safety.

The Order will come into effect on 10 June 2026 and remain in force until 26 June 2026. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.

During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times. (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Hophurst Lane in Crawley Down from a point 385M east of its junction with Burleigh Way, eastwards for 85M. The road closure is needed to allow a utilities inspection chamber to be replaced in safety.

The Order will come into effect on 26 May 2026 and remain in force until 1 June 2026. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.

NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Dumbrells Farm Way (A2300) in Burgess Hill from Jane Murray Way to West End Farm Avenue.

The road closure is needed to allow new watermains to be installed in safety.

The Order will come into effect on 25 May 2026 and remain in force until 3 June 2026. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.
