DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT FOR THE COUNTY OF DERBYSHIRE

THE DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(ADDITION OF A RESTRICTED BYWAY ALONG PART OF BOGGY LANE TO PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO 37, UPGRADING TO RESTRICTED BYWAY OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 37 (PART), AND DELETION OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO 37 (PART) AND PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO 24 - PARISHES OF CHURCH BROUGHTON AND FOSTON & SCROPTON) MODIFICATION ORDER 2026

The above Order made on 07 May 2026, if confirmed as made, will modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by adding a restricted byway along part of Boggy Lane to Public Footpath No 37, upgrading to a restricted Byway Public Footpath No. 37 (part), and deleting Public Footpath No 37 (part) and Public Footpath No 24 - Parishes of Church Broughton and Foston & Scropton

A copy of the Order and map are available to view on the Council website at: www.derbyshire.gov.uk/ rightsofwaynotices . Documents can also be seen free of charge at County Hall, Matlock, during normal office hours where copies may be bought at the price of £1.00 or at Etwall Library Egginton Road, Etwall, Derbyshire, DE65 6NB during normal opening hours.

Any representation or objection relating to the order must be sent in writing to the Director of Legal Services at the address below or by email to Dmmo.register@derbyshire. gov.uk not later than Thursday, 2 July 2026, and applicants are requested to state the grounds on which it is made. If no representations or objections are duly made to the order, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Derbyshire County Council, instead of submitting the order to the Secretary of State may itself confirm the order. If the order is submitted to the Secretary of State for the Environment, any representations or objections which have been duly made and not withdrawn will be sent with it.
