What is happening?

Temporary Orders 
The Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
The County of Cornwall (Torleven Road, Porthleven) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Porthleven. 

This prohibition is necessary for disconnecting water supply works and it is expected that the closure will be from 17th June 2026 to 19th June 2026. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1430, weekdays only. 

Road affected - Torleven Road, Porthleven between the property named Atlantic Point and grid reference SW63115 26240.

Pedestrian and Vehicular access will be maintained to properties.

The County of Cornwall (Road From Swans Quay To Trolver Hill To Old Tram Road, Devoran)(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Devoran. 

This prohibition is necessary for water connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 16th June 2026 to 18th June 2026. 

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only. Road affected - Road From Swans Quay To Trolver Hill To Old Tram Road, Devoran between the junction of Old Tram Road and the property named Carnation Cottage. An alternative route will be signed on site.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Blackwater. 

This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 17th June 2026 for one day. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only. Road affected - Road From Roscarnick Farm To Garth Lodge, Blackwater between grid references SW75492 47143 and SW75548 46911.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Just In Roseland. 

This prohibition is necessary for cabling and gully works and it is expected that the closure will be from 16th June 2026 to 19th June 2026. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekdays only. 
Road affected - Road From St Just Creek To Windmill Hill, St Just In Roseland between the property named Renwicks Cafe and the junction of Windmill Hill.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 18th May 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily 
prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Truro. 

This prohibition is necessary for surfacing and lining works and it is expected that the closure will be from 1st June 2026 to 14th June 2026. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekends included. 

Roads affected - Morlaix Avenue, Truro in both directions between grid references SW82239 43895 and SW82788 44494 and Newham Road, Newham, Truro between the junction of Morlaix Avenue and grid reference SW82903 44224. An alternative route will be signed on site.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Breage. 

This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 15th June 2026 to 16th June 2026. 

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only. Roads affected - Poldown, Breage between grid reference SW63035 29834 and the junction of Carnmeal and Road From Poldown To The B3302 Between White Horse And Sithney Common, Sithney between the junction of Carnmeal and grid reference SW63363 29577.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of footway in Truro. 

This prohibition is necessary for drainage works and it is expected that the closure will be from 15th June 2026 to 26th June 2026. 

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. 

Footway affected - Urban Footway F7075, Truro for its entire length. An alternative route will be signed on site.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Mylor Bridge. 

This prohibition is necessary for cabling and gully works and it is expected that the closure will be from 18th June 2026 for one day. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only. 

Road affected - Bells Hill, Mylor Bridge between the junctions of Springfield Park and Parc Peneglos.

This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 19th June 2026 for one day. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only. Road affected - Hillhead Road, Kergilliack between grid references SW78215 33240 and SW78381 33324.
