This Order will come into operation on 26 May 2026 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 for 2 days. This Order will come into operation on 27 May 2026 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 until 03 June 2026. Alternative route L via C289 (unaffected length) – C332 – C321 – C331 – C289 (unaffected length) and vice versa. Alternative route M via C330 (unaffected length) – Weston Lane – C289 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 28 May 2026 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

And to introduce a temporary No Waiting at any time restriction on the following lengths of road: k) A360 (Part), Winterbourne Stoke, Berwick St James and Woodford; from its junction with B3086 to its junction with Byway 15, Woodford. l) A360 (Part), Winterbourne Stoke; from its junction with A344 (Airman’s Corner) in a westerly direction towards Shrewton for a distance of approximately 1 kilometre. m) B3086 (Part), Winterbourne Stoke and Shrewton; from its junction with A360/A344 (Airman’s Corner) in a northerly direction to its junction with The Packway (Rollestone Crossroads). n) Fargo Road (Part), Durrington; from its junction with the A345 to a point 300m north at Woodhenge. o) C42, Stonehenge Road, Amesbury; from its junction with West Amesbury Road to the A303. p) A345 (Part), Durrington; from its roundabout junction with A3028 for a distance of approximately 500m in a southerly direction. These Orders are made to ensure public safety during the period of the Summer Solstice at Stonehenge. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. These Orders will come into operation at 08:00 on 15 June 2026 and are expected to remain in force until 12:00 noon on 23 June 2026. The Order for sections (a) – (i) will have a maximum duration of 06 months. The Orders for sections (j) – (p) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all users: A) Restricted Byway 17 (Part), Laverstock and Ford; from its junction with Pearce Way to its junction with Footpath 12, Laverstock and Ford. B) Footpath 12, Laverstock and Ford; from its junction with Restricted Byway 12, Laverstock and Ford to its junction with Ford Lane to enable Green Lane Cycleway Improvement Scheme, the scheme includes the addition of a new crossing on Pearce Way, the upgrade of the existing shared-use track, and the implementation of traffic calming measures along Roman Road. Machinery operating in this area is large and will occupy the majority of the track during the day. For the safety of the workforce and those who use the highway it will be closed. Some areas of the track will remain open where possible. Alternative route A via Footpath 11, Laverstock and Ford – Holmes Road – Pearce Way and vice versa. No alternative route is available for B. The closures and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order which was due to expire on 23 May 2026 will now continue in force until 23 November 2026 or until completion of the works, whichever is earliest. Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be as follows: Orders 1 and 2 – To revoke The County of Wiltshire (Various Roads, Broad Chalke) (20mph Speed Limit) Order 2016 and re-enact it, in part, in the above Order 1 and to introduce a 40mph speed limit on C12 High Road, Broad Chalke – from a point 90 metres east of its junction with C65 The Causeway to a point 260 metres east of the boundary between properties known as ‘Longbridge House’ and ‘Mead House’. Order 3 – To revoke The County of Wiltshire (C12, Bishopstone) (30mph Speed Limit) Order 2006 and re-enact it, in part in the above Order 3, to revoke and The County of Wiltshire (C12, Bishopstone) (40mph Speed Limit) Order 2012 and to introduce a 30mph speed limit on Bridge Road, Butt Lane, Chapel Lane, Croucheston Drive, Flamstone Street, Harvest Lane, Netton Close, Netton Street, Pitts Lane, Stanley Close, The Alley, The Croft, The Cross, The Styles, Bishopstone – the complete lengths; C12 High Road, Bishopstone – from a point 185 metres north east of its junction with Harvest Lane to a point 130 metres west of its junction with Butt Lane; Croucheston Drove, Bishopstone – from its junction with Chapel Lane and The Cross to a point 175 metres south of that junction. THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (A30, FIRSDOWN) (50MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2026

Notice is hereby given that on 13 May 2026 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to introduce a 50mph speed limit on the A30, Firsdown – from a point 430 metres south west of its junction with C289 Firs Road to a point 450 metres north east of that junction. A copy of the Order and plan may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant Section of the above Act or on the grounds that any requirement of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act or any regulation made under the said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. The Order will come into operation on 25 May 2026.
