Temporary Closure of Raleighs Cross To Beulah Chapel and Beulah Chapel To Withiel Hill

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Raleighs Cross To Beulah Chapel - from the junction with Beulah Chapel To Withiel Hill to the junction with Brown Lane; and Beulah Chapel To Withiel Hill - from the junction with Raleighs Cross To Beulah Chapel, north-westwards for a distance of 169 metres. A total distance of 284 metres. This Order will enable Dunmore SW to carry out fibre ducting works on behalf of Openreach.

The Order becomes effective on 4th June 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 10th June 2026 and last until 1st July 2026 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 22 days.
