What is happening?

Somerset Council Parish of Taunton Temporary Closure of Trull Road (Northbound Lane)

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Trull Road (Northbound Lane) - from the junction with Haines Hill, north-eastwards for a total distance of 90 metres. This Order will enable Network Plus to install a new electricity supply on behalf of National Grid.

The Order becomes effective on 21st May 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 30th May 2026 and last until 2nd June 2026 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 4 days.
