(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

(NEW SHAW LANE, BLACKSHAW HEAD)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of New Shaw Lane from No. 1 New Shaw Lane to No. 7 New Shaw Lane for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Badger Lane, Rawtenstall Bank, Savile Road, King Street A646, Heptonstall Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 25th May 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 29th May 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(SMITHWELL LANE, HEPTONSTALL)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Smithwell Lane from Sandal Lodge to junction of Towngate for a distance of approximately 250 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Towngate, Heptonstall Road, Lee Wood Road, Draper Lane, unaffected part of Smithwell Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 25th May 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 31st May 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(TOWNGATE, HEPTONSTALL)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Towngate from its junction with Northgate to Smithwell Lane for a distance of approximately 80 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Towngate, Heptonstall Road, Lee Wood Road, Draper Lane, unaffected part of Smithwell Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 25th May 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 31st May 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(ROOLEY LANE, SOWERBY BRIDGE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Rooley Lane from No. 1 to No. 3 for a distance of approximately 50 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Rooley Lane, Town Gate, Well Head Lane, Hubberton Green Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 26th May 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 26th May 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(BACK BELVOIR GARDENS, SKIRCOAT GREEN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Back Belvoir Gardens from No. 10 to No. 14 for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. No alternative route available. Access for residents will be maintained. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 8th June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 8th June 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 17:00.

(CANAL ROAD, SOWERBY BRIDGE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Sapphire Utility Solutions intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Canal Road from its junction with Wakefield Road to No. 4 for a distance of approximately 67 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Copley View Road, Hollas Lane, Wakefield Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 8th June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 5th July 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(COAL PIT LANE, CLIFTON)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Northern Gas Networks intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Coal Pit Lane from No. 8 to junction with New Street for a distance of approximately 158 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Coal Pit Lane, Wakefield Road, Clifton Road, Clifton Common, Towngate, Westgate and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 8th June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 10th July 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(CLUB LANE, OVENDEN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Club Lane from its junction with Keighley Road to 38 Club Lane for a distance of approximately 290 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Cousin Lane, Moorlands Gardens, Nursery Lane, Keighley Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 8th June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 12th June 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(HEATHMOOR PARK ROAD, ILLINGWORTH)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by OCU Utility Services Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Heathmoor Park Road from No. 15 to No. 19 for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Keighley Road, Field Head Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 8th June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 12th June 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(SPRING HALL GARDENS, HALIFAX)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Northern Gas Networks intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Spring Hall Gardens from side of No. 144 Spring Hall Lane to side of No. 146 Spring Hall Lane for a distance of approximately 6 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Spring Hall Gardens, Spring Hall Grove, Spring Hall Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 8th June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 3rd July 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(SPRING LANE, GREETLAND)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Spring Lane from No. 18 to No. 6 for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Martin Green Lane, B6113 Rochdale Road, Sunnybank Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 8th June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 10th June 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(PETER LANE, WARLEY)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Peter Lane from Warley Edge Lane to Norton Cottage for a distance of approximately 8 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Newlands Road, Roils Head Road, Stock Lane. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 9th June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 11th June 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(BANKS END ROAD, ELLAND)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Banks End Road from side of No.12b to No.14 for a distance of approximately 8 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 10thJune 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 12th June 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(GRANNY HALL LANE, BRIGHOUSE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Connaught Logistic Support Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Granny Hall Lane from Blackburn Road to Lightcliffe Road for a distance of approximately 50 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Stead Avenue, Lightcliffe Road. Resident access will be maintained. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 13thJune 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 13th June 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 22:00.
