THE CHESHIRE WEST AND CHESTER BOROUGH COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS ORDER 2026
ELLESMERE PORT AND NESTON FP7 (PART)

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council proposes to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians on Ellesmere Port and Neston Public Right of Way FP7 from a point at OSGR SJ 3634 7648 heading in a South Easterly direction for approximately 373 metres to a point at OSGR SJ 3649 7614. The closure is necessary because of construction works to develop land under the planning permission reference 12/02091/OUT which would be a danger to the public.

The Order will come into operation on 03 June 2026 and will continue in force for a period of six months or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner.

Details of Alternative route

An alternative route is available via heading east along Ledsham Road and then south along Leamington Road.

This order does not prevent any pedestrians with access to premises situated on or adjacent to the public footpaths only accessible from the path or by any emergency vehicle.
