Sandwell Borough: Anderson Road & Rabone Lane, Smethwick - Various Traffic Regulations

The Borough Council of Sandwell (Anderson Road, Smethwick)
(Temporary Road Closure & One-Way Suspension) Order 2026 has made an order to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Anderson Road, which will be closed from the western boundary of property No.4 to the eastern boundary of property No.6C. Access to any affected frontages will be maintained, but only when safety permits. A one- way suspension will also be in place at Anderson Road from its junction with Barnsley Road to its junction with Poplar Road for access only. Access to any affected frontages will be maintained, but only when safety permits. Traffic will be diverted via Barnsley Road, Sandon Road & Poplar Road. The maximum duration is 18 months, but the work is expected to be completed by 29/05/2026, effective from 28/05/2026 (10pm-4am). Purpose – to facilitate access for survey works by Severn Trent Water. (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2026 has made an order to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Rabone Lane, which will be closed from its junction with Rolfe Street to east of its junction with Engine Street. Access to any affected frontages will be maintained, but only when safety permits. Traffic will be diverted via Engine Street, Rolfe Street & vice versa. The maximum duration is 18 months, but the work is expected to be completed by 29/05/2026, effective from 28/05/2026 (10pm-4am). Purpose – to facilitate access for survey works by Severn Trent Water.
