Notice is hereby given that The Department for Infrastructure
() makes the following Temporary Order in exercise of the
powers conferred by Article 4 (1), (2) and (3) of the Road
Traffi c Regulation (Northern Ireland) Order 1997() and now
vested in it ().
Prohibition of U-Turns
A person shall not cause or permit any vehicle proceeding on
the A8 Belfast Road, Larne Northbound to make a U-Turn
while proceeding in a North Easterly Direction and A8 Belfast
Road, Larne Southbound to make a U-Turn while proceeding
in a South Westerly direction between Ballyrickary
Roundabout, and Drumahoe Road Roundabout, A8 Belfast
Road, Larne.
From Wednesday 06th May 2026 at 06am to Monday
07th September 2026 at 06am.

Road Traffi c Regulation (NI) Order 1997 Article 7
Notice is hereby given that the U4025 Ballyboley Road, and
the U4096 Rowan Avenue Larne, will be closed continuously
to vehicular traffi c from just past the junction of Rowan
Avenue to the junction of Ballyboley Road / Distributor Road
junction. Extension commencing 17:00 hours on Friday 15th
May 2026 to 17:00 hours on Friday 29th May 2026.
Diversions will be signed via BALLYHAMPTON ROAD,
OAKDENE, LINDEN CRESCENT, ROWAN AVENUE.
The purpose of the closure is to facilitate realigning and
upgrading works to existing Ballyboley Roadway
