THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(EXCHANGE STREET) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton
City Council propose to make an Order under Section
14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as
substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions)
Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on
Exchange Street at its junction with Queen Square.
Access/egress to be maintained.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of
eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will
be undertaken from 1st June 2026 until 8th June 2026.
The Order is required to facilitate public realm works by
Wolverhampton City Council.
