NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Order made by Derbyshire County Council on 16th February 2021 under Section 14 of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which was to close Chesterfield Road, Beeley has been extended. The alternative route will be via Chesterfield Road, Beeley Lane, Sydnope Hill, A6, B6012, Devonshire Square and vice versa. The road will be closed until 11th November 2027 or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner to facilitate Land Slip.The full duration of this Order will be in excess of the prescribed 18 month limit stipulated under Section 14 of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended). However, as per the exceptions provided in Section 15 of the Act, Derbyshire County Council is satisfied that the scale and significance of these works are such that the execution of them will take longer. In any case, this Order shall be revoked as soon as the works are completed. Any member of the public requiring further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
